How teams, seats, and shared credits work

Understand what MinutesGenerator teams share, what stays private to each user, and how team credits work.

Written by Max Sherman

MinutesGenerator teams are designed for lightweight seat management and shared usage credits. Team members sign in with their own email address and password, while the team shares one credit pool.

What a team shares

  • Team members use the same shared credit pool for uploads and processing.

  • Team admins can invite teammates and manage seats from Account > Team.

  • Billing is usually tied to the account or billing contact that originally subscribed or purchased credits. Not every team member will see the same billing controls.

What stays private to each user

  • Uploads, transcripts, and generated minutes stay in the dashboard of the user who uploaded or created them.

  • Custom templates stay with the user who uploaded or created them.

  • Names and special transcription terms stay with the user who added them.

  • Each user has their own sign-in email, password, and account settings.

Adding seats

  1. Invite the teammate using the email address they should use for MinutesGenerator.

  2. Ask them to accept the invitation from that same email address.

  3. After accepting, they can upload and process meetings using the team’s shared credits.

Team support is available only on eligible accounts. If you do not see the Team tab or invite controls, contact support from inside MinutesGenerator.
