Supported upload file types

Which files can be used for meeting uploads, agendas, and templates.

Written by Max Sherman

MinutesGenerator accepts different file types depending on what you are uploading.

MinutesGenerator dashboard upload choices

  1. Choose Upload Media File when you have the meeting audio or video. Common formats include MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, and MOV.

  2. Upload a Word document, text file, or image when you already have readable notes, a transcript, or a scanned source that should be turned into minutes.

  3. When MinutesGenerator asks for an agenda, add a PDF, Word document, text file, or readable image if you have one. Agenda upload is optional, but recommended.

  4. For custom templates, open Templates and upload one to ten PDF, TXT, DOC, or DOCX examples.

Use the clearest file you have. For PDFs, Word files, scans, or photos, remove unrelated pages before uploading so the generated minutes stay focused.
