Upload an agenda for better minutes

Why agenda upload is recommended and how to add one to an upload or recording.

Written by Max Sherman

Agenda upload is optional, but recommended. It gives MinutesGenerator the meeting structure before it creates the transcript and minutes.

Start recording dialog with optional agenda upload

  1. Open the dashboard and click New Upload.

  2. Choose Upload Media File for an existing meeting file, or choose Record Audio to record in the browser.

  3. When the agenda field appears, upload the agenda file. PDF, Word, text, and readable image files are good choices.

  4. Continue the upload or click Start Recording. MinutesGenerator will use the agenda as context while generating the transcript and minutes.

  5. After generation finishes, review the minutes and fill in anything the agenda could not determine, such as attendance, motions, final votes, or exact meeting times.

Use the final agenda when you have it. If the agenda changed during the meeting, make those final corrections in the minutes editor before exporting.
