Use the player to confirm the exact point before splitting.
Select a clip on the timeline.
Click the timeline near the place you want to split.
Press play to preview that section.
Use skip forward or backward to move in larger steps.
Change playback speed if you need to review faster.
Pause at the exact split point.
Click Split or press S.
If the split is wrong, click Undo and try again.
Good split points include adjournments, roll calls, recesses, or the first agenda item of the next meeting.
